~ Hello friend ~

My name is Leigh Anne Rufener and I couldn’t be more thankful that you are here. Thank you for taking your precious time to do so.

Who am I?

Jesus follower. Grateful wife. Homeschooling Mama. Wellness enthusiast. Passionate about leadership integrity. Fan of laughter. Thankful for each moment.

Most of my childhood was spent in the Cleveland, Ohio area. GO Buckeyes! My parents have been some of the most marvelous gifts ever given to me. The Lord used them to shape me into who I am today, along with my precious youth pastor from my home church - Grace C&MA.

I studied math and middle school education at Ashland University. Call me an oddball, but I think Middle Schoolers are a delight! Through MANY events that only our kind & gracious God could orchestrate, my husband and I met through the Navigator Ministry at our university. Dating and engagement was a whirlwind, and we were married in 9 months. While Chris attended seminary, I taught 7th grade language arts.

After seminary, we moved to State College, Pennsylvania to church plant. What a delightful time of sharing about the Lord, encouraging people AND being encouraged, and loving people.

In 2016, our family made a huge leap into the PCA (Presbyterian Church in America.) Then, after 2.5 years at Oakwood Presbyterian in State College, we launched into church planting again in Terre Haute, Indiana - home to Indiana State University, whose most iconic athlete is Larry Bird, one of my husband’s favorite basketball players of all time.

My husband and I have 3 busy boys, and I have the honor of home educating these dudes. I own a franchise of a wellness-driven company, and have the privilege of traveling alongside people as they walk their personal wellness journey.

And, I haven’t mentioned much about laughter, but it is one of my FAVORITES!

Faith. Family. Education. Health & Wellness.

On a regular basis, I have the blessed opportunity to live out these passions the Lord has laid on my heart.

Simply stated, I am thankful. Thankful for a God who is kind, who cares, who never forgets us, who loves well, & who promises to lead & direct our every path.

“Fear not, O Zion; let not your hands grow weak. The LORD your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.” Zephaniah 3.16b-17
